Automation problems

hi,
having trouble getting my RSC to automate...
RSC itself runs just fine, but as soon as I use a command line switch, /ut1 in my case, it opens and closes before the main window even comes up... and in the log i get this:
I had the same problem like 2 years ago when i first messed with rsc, but i figured it out then... now i cant remember what i did!!!
im pretty sure it invlolved user accounts and or console/terminal sessions (its a remote machine, i use RDP and VNC to access) i could be remembering wrong though.. but this time ive tried everything i thought it was and still no luck.
anyone familiar with this?
