Followed the directions for Linux install and that seems to have been a mistake. Not sure if the permissions settings got screwed or all the links caused an issue. I tried going thru the steps a second time and still does not work. How can I remove ALL of this and reset my site back to how it was?
Running Ubuntu 16.04, all latest updates.

Both affected by trying to install this script.
Everything was originally assigned to root and then changed to www-data. I set all permissions BACK to root, but that did not do the trick. Would be nice if there was an install and in-install script for this.
This is being hosted on a remote VDS, not locally, so this was not the ISO version. I followed the directions from here.

Installing 1.92 on my Linux site wrecked my site

I have just un-installed mono as well.
It almost seems as if it is no longer able to interpret php.

Hopefully you created a backup? I don't know anything about your setup and unfortunately cannot be of much use. I'd start with looking at the apache logs.
