This would be a nice configuration option. ARK is notorious for releasing like 10 updates in a 24 hour period especially when a big update drops.

@r4z0r That is how I'm doing it now but that requires someone to manually start and stop the server because the panel doesn't see a Mod needs updating. Also it is actually quite messy in it's implementation and has been known to cause corruption issues. Would really prefer a better way to look at th...

Process Monitoring time

I noticed there is a time set here to restart a server but I had a question about how often does the panel check to see if the process is running? The reason I ask is that right now I'm running another manual process that will stop the server process when it finds a mod update and it then applies it...

@masher - More info on how ASM does it's update checks. Seems to use the Steam Web API key. Not sure what is going on more under the covers with it but it doesn't have to scrap or download the mods this way it just uses an API check to look at versions or updates I'm guessing. For whatever reason I was getting the error posted on Chum's updated config but when I manually set the max players to 1000 it doesn't try to do that start.

Yeah it's in the monitoring tab. It's the one that should be set to 0 but for whatever reason in my install it causes the server to boot loop and start multiple instances. I set it to 1000 players which would never happen as I run a max of 250 and it works fine and doesn't attempt to start things. I...

So look at that log got me thinking lets make that player count say 1000 - and guess what it worked...no more double starting....definitely a bug though because it should be able to be set to 0 and Rust not restart like that.
